We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration between NetZeroCities and the TIPS4PED consortium, marking a significant step towards the EU’s goal of achieving 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030. This partnership will combine the innovative capabilities of both signatories to share learnings and scale sustainable, people-centric Positive Energy Districts (PEDs).’

Through this collaboration, TIPS4PED will leverage its Integrated Assessment Platform (IAP), using cutting-edge Digital Twin (DT) technology to support municipalities in making informed decisions to optimize the design and management of PEDs. With the support of NetZeroCities’ extensive expertise and network, this partnership aims to streamline urban planning efforts, fostering environmental sustainability and improving citizens’ quality of life across Europe.

The MoU sets the foundation for an ambitious and transformative journey, where both parties will contribute their knowledge and experience to scale impactful urban solutions. Together, we will pioneer strategies to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote climate neutrality across cities.
